Tesla Model 3 production begins this Friday: Elon Musk
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced in a tweet that the company will begin production of the long anticipated Model 3 on Friday.
The Electric Automaker has promised that the first 30 customers will have their new Tesla Model 3 vehicles delivered to them at a handover party on July 28th.
Production of the new Tesla Model 3 is expected to grow exponentially: 100 cars in August, more than 1,500 by September, and then 20,000 per month by December.

With over 400,000 pre-orders, Tesla is expected to increase production of Model 3 in 2018 with total Tesla vehicle production approaching 500,000 units annually.
