Nokia 6 smartphone will be available in the US by July for $229
Earlier this year, Finnish company HMD Global announced that it would be releasing new midrange Nokia Android phones in the United States. The new mobile device, Nokia 6 Phone is ready to hit the US in early July. It'll be available exclusively through Amazon.
Nokia 6 was announced at Mobile World Congress by HMD Global to feature a 5.5-inch, 1920 x 1080 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage (expandable by microSD). The device runs Android Nougat in its purest, unadulterated form which implies that means no bundled apps or overlaid skins.
Though the specs are on the average side, the Nokia 6 is distinguised by its metal unibody design built out of a single block of aluminum, which adds a premium touch to the midrange device.
HMD announced that the new Nokia 6 will only offer full support for 4G LTE for T-Mobile customers. AT&T will be partially supported, while Sprint and Verizon CDMA-based networks won’t work at all.
The new device will be available by early July in matte black and silver colors while in Summer, tempered blue and copper colors will also be offered. The price for Nokia 6 is $229
HMD has promised to debut the smaller Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 in the US soon.
