Fullscreen videos and file downloads feature now on Android Firefox Focus
Mozilla has rolled out an update for its privacy browser, Firefox Focus which was launched a month ago. The update allows you to watch videos on your browser in fullscreen mode as well as download files to your device.
The App which was first launched on iOS in November 2016 was also made available on the Android platform in June 2017.
Firefox Focus is a web browser optimized for high performance and privacy by blocking web trackers such as Google analytics, Advertising and social. Android being an open-source software allows more flexibility on the app unlike it's iOS counterparts. Android users can set Firefox as their default browser.
Mozilla has revealed that the Firefox Focus App has passed 1 million downloads. Although downloads doesn't imply usage but it's an indicator that the browser is accepted.
The fullscreen video support is not yet available to YouTube as Mozilla says it is waiting on Google to fix a bug. The browser now supports downloading all kinds of files.
