iOS 11 public beta has been launched for everyone to try on their iPhone and iPad. According to the official release note, the version released is iOS 11 Public Beta 1. Installing the update will dramatically change the iPad while giving the iPhone a worthy update.
Apple is giving its newest Operating System version update a thorough test and debugging about three months ahead of its expected autumn official release date.
iOS 11 changes the iPad Pro
iOS 11 update gives your iPhone great features such iMessages backed up by iCloud, augmented reality developer tools and a new Control Center design.
But the iPad Pro has seen a radical change in the form of multitasking, making it a perfect replacement for laptops for some people.
The iOS 11 update features new apps dock and multitasking menu in a grid display on iPad Pro. Drag and drop capabilities in the split-screen mode is quite handy too.
Apple Pencil has been enhanced and here are the major changes:
- Instant Notes allows you to make notes and save them (right on the lockscreen).
- Instant Markup allows you to draw on photos and PDFs (It's a new feature).
- iPad camera allows you to scan documents
- Text moves out of the way when you start drawing in the Notes app
The update adds new keyboard shortcut mechanic for accessing numbers, symbols and punctuation to the iPad. Rather than toggle back and forth between the two keyboard menus, a simple swipe down on the letters that share these symbols will serve the moment.
As a 10th anniversary update plan, the new iOS 11 is expected to launch alongside the rumored iPhone 8 update.
